Where to stay in Dubai: Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Mall of the Emirates

Dubai is the main tourist destination of United Arab Emirates (UAE), a small country located in the eastern part of the Arabian Peninsula, on the coast of the Persian Gulf. Because of its strategic location (Dubai is very centrally located and an ideal place to stop by), the city is one of the main entrance points to Asia by many nationalities. In our trip to Southeast Asia on October of 2019, we arrived and left from Dubai. So we decided to spend a couple more days to meet a little bit of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, these wonderful cities.

Dubai is an artificial modern city in an arrid desert region, where money is the measure of measurement. It is known by its luxury hotels and shopping malls, by its ultra modern architecture with magnificent buildings and breathtaking skyscrapers and by its amazing nightlife. There, we find the tallest building in the world (Burj Khalifa), the world’s largest shopping (Dubai Mall), the world’s tallest observation wheel (Ain Dubai will be the world’s tallest ferris wheel when opened), the largest indoor ski resort in the world (Ski Dubai), the world’s largest picture frame (Dubai Frame), etc.

Dubai is full of entertainment places, lovely beaches, water and theme parks and places where families can have memorables moments, like Dubai Dolphinarium, Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, Dubai Creek Park, Wild Wadi Water Park, Ski Dubai, etc. There we also find famous and very expensive hotels like Atlantis Hotel (located at the tip of the beautiful Palm Jumeirah Island) and the iconics Burj Al Arab and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. But these hotels are VERY EXPENSIVE and you must be willing to spend a lot of money on them. But, know what? I think it’s not worth. We defend the idea to stay in a comfortable, clean, well located and luxury hotel with good facilities, but without spending a lot of money. And a wonderful hotel in Dubai, with an excellent cost-benefit is Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Mall of the Emirates.

We already knew the hotel brand Hilton Garden Inn, cuz we’ve already stayed in Hilton Garden Inn Financial Center, New York, and at the Hilton Garden Inn Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman North, in Kuala Lumpur, Malasya. So, we chose Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Mall of the Emirates because there the comfort and quality are guaranteed. Besides, you will be extremely well located, only 5 minutes walking distance from the Mall of the Emirates, where is the biggest indoor ski resort in the world (Ski Dubai).

Hilton Garden Inn Dubai MOE is not just a regular hotel. It is the second biggest Hilton Garden Inn in the world and it’s a 4 stars hotel. We could notice it by the size of the suites, by the quality of the amenities in the room and by all the complimentary services offered to its guests. Even the Standard Suite is very spacious and really beautiful, but we stayed in a bigger room with 2 bathrooms and a living room. It was awesome! The bed is really comfortable and we had a perfect night of sleep there.

When searching for a hotel, don’t hesitate to look at the evaluations on sites like TripAdvisor, Booking and Hotels.com because they are made by regular travellers just like us and from there you can have a real idea of how your stay will be. And the Hilton Garden Inn Dubai MOE has always excellent reviews.

And we also loved @hiltongardeninndubaimoe. The hotel has good location and it amazes you as soon as you enter there. It is an good option for couples, for the whole family, for a trip with friends and for a business trip.

We were very well welcomed and hosts were incredibly nice at all times. The staff attendance was highly impressive. They were friendly, speak English and some speak even Portuguese.

The rooms are spacious and well eqquiped, the bed is comfortable, the adjustable air-conditioning is strong (cold) and our room had a bathtub with a hand-held shower. Wi-Fi is free and it works perfectly in every part of the hotel. The breakfast is amazing, very complete. And all ingredients are of the best quality! Definitely you will love this hotel just like we did!

Staying at Hilton Garden Inn Dubai MOE you will have many complimentary services and amenities that really makes the difference. Each floor counts with a Self Service Laundry where you put the clothes by yourself at the machine with no extra cost. The hotel also offers a SPA with thai massage (upon appointment), a 24h Fitness Center, Outdoor Pool, a Restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner, Meeting Rooms, Concierge, Room Service, Free WiFI, Business Center, Free Parking and The Shop, which is open 24-hours and offers drinks, snacks, and sandwiches. We got surprised with the structure of the hotel.

There we also find the store Al Jaber Gallery, the biggest Gift and Souvenir Chain in UAE. Staying at Hilton Garden Inn Dubai MOE you will have easy access to many stores, souvenirs shops and good restaurants. The neighborhood is a great choice for travellers interested in shopping, family-friendly trips and entertainment. The hotel also stays next to two metro stations.

Hilton Garden Inn Dubai MOE has 6 kinds of rooms, all of them extremely comfortable and very well equipped. And here they are: King Room, King One Bedroom Suite, Queen Room, Twin Room, Two Bedroom Family Suite and Family Connecting Guest Room. We stayed at the King One Bedroom Suite and we loved it. We had a perfect night of sleep there. It’s a very pleasant ambiance, romantic for couples and also for the whole family to enjoy.

King Room is a 29 sq. meter suite, which accommodates 3 persons. It’s an excelent option for couples with no child or for families with 3 people.

King One Bedroom Suite is a 56 sqm room which accommodates 4 guests. It has a bedroom with a King Size Bed, two 47-inch HDTV, scald-proof shower/tub, hand-held shower, a separate living room with Sofa bed, dining table and a large working desk.

Queen Room is a 29 sqm suite which fits up to 3 guests. The room is equipped with a 47-inch HDTV, mini-fridge, safe, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, work desk, ergonomic chair, WiFi, Sofa Bed, shower/tub and hand-held shower.

Two Bedroom Family Suite is ideal for families who prefer spacious accommodations. It connects a King Suite with a double Twin bedroom and provides 85 square meters of space. It accommodates 6 persons and it is perfect for a big family or a group of friends. The suite has 2 bedrooms, 2 individual bathrooms and a guest bathroom, a separate living room with dining area, sofa bed, 47-inch HDTVs in each room, mini-fridge, work desk with ergonomic chair, free WiFi, a bottle warmer, Portable Baby Bath, wipes, and much more.

Family Connecting Guest Room is another Family Suite at Hilton Garden Inn Dubai. It connects two rooms with King and Twin-size beds to accommodate two adults and two children, but it fits up to 6 guests (an optional extra bed or baby cot is available upon request). The room is also very well equipped for babys and kids, offering child proof electric plugs, small pillows for toddlers, baby high chairs. a bottle warmer, Portable Baby Bath, wipes and much more. The kids can be entertained with 3 TV kids channels and a Game console (subject to availability).

Hilton Garden Inn Dubai MOE is not just a regular Hilton Garden Inn hotel. It’s much more than that. Besides being a 4 stars hotel, extremely complete, there you are very well received since the moment you check in until when you check out. We felt completely at home throughout our stay. The attendance was perfect! We also had complimentary bottled water on our room.

Besides being cozy, comfortable and well located, Hilton Garden Inn Dubai offers services like self laundry (without extra charge), free parking, concierge, massage at the spa, business center and much more. The hotel has also a 24-hour fitness center, swimming pool, on-site restaurant, cafe, bar, meeting rooms and a 24-hour convenience shop (The Shop), which offers drinks, snacks and sandwiches. It is amazing!

The breakfast is really awesome, tasty and very well served. You will find of everything there, hot and cold buffet like sausages and eggs, fresh vegetables, potatoes, salami and cheese, breads, croissants, variety of fruits, juices, coffee and tea. You can also have a healthy breakfast with different kinds of cereal, dry fruits, nuts, scrambled eggs, omelettes and much more. It has everything you could ever want. You can even do your own Waffle.
